The production is clinical, the songwriting is sharp and the vocals have a lush, neo-psychedelic feel to them. That isn’t to peg Tomorrows as a psych band, however; with the synth wash and electronic sheen their’s is a very modern pop vision.” – Clash

Based in Dublin, Tomorrows are a new five-piece, taking elements of 60’s and 70’s pop/prog/folk/psych as a starting point to explore new modern textures and melodies, and their debut track ‘Another Life‘ premiered on Clash a moment ago.

On the track, frontman Conor Deasy said: “‘Another Life‘ is the first song we wrote and recorded together as a five piece and it set the tone for everything that followed. It’s based on the repetition of a riff and a beat, somewhere between ‘Tired of Waiting’ by the Kinks and ‘Hallogallo’ by Neu. It was recorded live in our friend’s studio in an old farmhouse in the Dublin mountains, with some layers of mellotron, organ and vocals added later. The song is optimistic, it’s about realising you’ve lost your way and starting again.”
