Today sees The Beach reveal his new single entitled Maybe?. It’s the title track from his forthcoming EP and will be released Oct 9th on Year One / RCA Records. The track premiered last night on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show, and is now available for your listening pleasure, directly below.

‘Maybe?’ is the third single from The Beach, and is set to build on the strong foundations of his two previous tracks, Thieves and From Above

Known to his friends as George Morgan, The Beach is a musical project unlike most. Recording in a studio in a cupboard-sized studio in a Clapham high rise block, he has been locked away from the outside world with his producer Max Hosinger, an ex-next door neighbour. With little outside musical influence The Beach has produced music that is endlessly fascinating and heralds a new distinctive voice in British music.

The Beach will perform three shows at The Social in London over the course of next month. He’s set to play the 7th, 15th, and 28th September.

‘Maybe?’ is The Beach’s most direct song to date. Produced by his old neighbour Max Honsinger, an impassioned vocal combines with intense melodies and marks another bold statement from this incredible new British artist. The Beach’s sound mixes the epic waves of electronica with intricate acoustic guitars. He makes music away from any particular outside influence which marks him out as subtlety unique and endlessly fascinating as an artist.
