FlagshipFresh off a wonderfully successful 3 week residency at The Chapel in San Francisco, and acclaimed performances at Communion shows in the UK over the summer, North Carolina residents Flagship return to the UK this October, for a full UK tour.

The tour is in support of the band’s forthcoming debut self-titled album, and is set for release in the UK on 13th October 2014 on Bright Antenna Records. The album has already garnered some wonderful support, with Consequence of Sound praising the album – highlighting its”pastoral folk rock graces of bands like Fleet Foxes and Grizzly Bear, with occasional detours into wide-eyed pop catharsis”, and American Songwriter describing the band as “reminiscent of the best of The National and old school U2.”

The new album was recorded with celebrated producer Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Washed Out, Youth Lagoon). Of the sessions with the band, Allen said, “It’s really satisfying as a producer to hear the songs sound complete and epic – right when it’s being recorded live, as opposed to having to edit, tweak and mix until it feels that way.”

Along with the tour announcement, a the band have unveiled a stunning new video for new album track ‘Wagon’. The clip was directed by Alexander Alexandrov, and more of his work can be found here- http://alexanderalexandrov.com
