Everything Everything announce new Album ‘Get To Heaven’ and premiere video for new single ‘Distant Past’
‘Distant Past’ is the new single from the always inventive, forward-thinking Everything Everything. The single is available to buy now after premiering on Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record in The World’ on Tuesday February 17th
This much anticipated return sees this Manchester-based four-piece bring experimentation and ambition back to pop music, alongside heavy doses of wit and intelligence. ‘Distant Past’ has been produced by Stuart Price (The Killers, Pet Shop Boys, Madonna).
In the words of lead singer and songwriter Jonathan Higgs:
Distant Past is about primal human nature, and no matter how far we progress in our civilisations, we can never escape it.
Jonathan has also directed the video, carrying on from his previous work on the band’s past visual output.
