Buckinghamshire’s finest export As Elephants Are return this week, with the lead and title track from their new EP ‘Crown’. The news and release of the EP also coincides with a full UK tour throughout October and November, where they’ll be stopping off in Leeds, Liverpool, and London along the way.

The new EP, produced by Andy Savours (Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, My Bloody Valentine) is set for release on 17th November, and marks a confident and triumphant step forward for the young band, who look to build on the groundswell of wonderful support they’ve seen over the past 12 months.

Fusing together the best facets of their previous singles, ‘Crown’ has the sound and feel of a band who have come of age, who are ready to step out in to the unknown, to take a risk, and to solidify their status as one of the UK’s most exciting prospects.

Following a busy summer schedule of festival appearances, including main stage slots at Secret Garden Party, Truck, Underground Festival and more, the band will be hitting the road once again on a stint that includes a headline show at The Barfly, London on 30th October. Full tour dates and info further down.

The band have come a long way in the short space of time they’ve been together. Gaining plaudits from Huw Stephens and Zane Lowe at Radio 1, support and praise from the likes of DIY Mag, The 405, XFM, Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing, Nylon and many more, and radio play in the US courtesy of KCRW.
