As the headline line suggests… gUiLLeMoTs have released a brand new album ‘Hello Land!’ this week and it’s available to buy NOW, online around the world! ‘Hello Land!’ is the first of four albums gUiLLeMoTs will release this year.

Frontman Fyfe Dangerfield announced the release on Radcliffe & Maconie’s BBC 6Music show on Monday… previewing two tracks ‘Fleet’ and ‘Southern Winds’.

Recorded in Norway and produced by Jonas Raabe, you can listen to ‘Hello Land!’ in full here – this player is fully embeddable.

The photography  for ‘Hello Land!’ is by artist Anna Bean. She’ll be taking the covers for all the albums in this series.

Young Kato, a 6 piece band that met in Cheltenham, have just signed to influential Manchester-based label LAB Records and are currently working on a 4- track EP ‘Young Kato EP’ to be released on 23rd July 2012. The EP has been produced by Gordon Mills Jnr (Placebo, Ed Sheeran).

This will be preceded by single ‘Drink Dance Play’ on 3rd June 2012 – an amazing, punchy track likened to the pop offspring of Friendly Fires and Morrissey, a track about living every day like it’s your last.

Averaging an age of just 18, Young Kato have already cause quite a stir and have played support shows in front of 7,000+ strong crowds in Bristol late last year, and now regularly sell out shows in the West Country.

Leading up to their biggest ever gig at Cribbs Causeway with Pixie Lott at the Bristol Diamond Jubilee Concert on June 2nd, the band will play the Bristol Cooler on 5th May.

Andreas Moe announces the release of his debut EP ‘Collecting Sunlight’ on the 25th June.

Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, Andreas Moe has developed a strong following in his homeland and is now releasing his first UK EP, ‘Collecting Sunlight’

Having played in several bands in Sweden, and having leant his voice to a number of dance tracks, he signed his first UK publishing deal in January 2011. With his good looks and beautiful voice, Andreas looks set to go far, appealing to a range of fanbases.

A wide and varied range of artists, including Bon Iver, Beirut, and even Kanye West, have influenced Andreas in writing this EP. However he describes the end result as being The Script meets Robyn meets Prince: “Electronic but Organic.” The songs cover his experiences with love, both positive and negative and are all inspired by one girl. The heart features heavily in every single song and forms the emotional thread of the EP.

A week ahead of it’s May 7th release, Giana Factory are streaming their full debut album ‘Save The Youth’ over on This is Fake DIY.

‘Save the Youth’ is a beautifully dark and melodic album packed with ice-cold synths and hypnotic vocals. This is not, however, an album of doom and gloom, with tracks such as ‘Rainbow Girl’ and ‘Mountain’ showing a great deal of light and colour shining through the minimal, electronic sound.

Giana Factory – Loui Foo (vocals, drum pads), Sofie Johanne (bass, synth) and Lisbet Fritze (guitar) – have been combining gloomy synths, crisp drum pads, atmospheric guitars and sparklingly fresh melodies to create their own unique brand of dark pop since 2008.

They released their debut EP ‘Bloody Game’ in 2009 and performed their first show to a sold out Copenhagen crowd supporting Glasvegas. Before Giana Factory had performed live together, Lisbet and Loui were touring Europe with The Raveonettes, standing in for Sharin who was on maternity leave. They caught the eye of Glasvegas’ James Allan who asked if they had their own band and if they’d be up for supporting them on the first show of their European tour. The girls did not want to turn down such an offer and two weeks later Giana Factory played their first show to a sold out Glasvegas crowd.

Last year, Giana Factory asked a selection of musical friends that they had met whilst on the road, to remake their favourite tracks from ‘Save The Youth’. This resulted in a monthly 7” vinyl series featuring the original tracks alongside interpretations from Glasvegas, Trentmøller, Autloux and VETO.

‘Save The Youth’ will be available worldwide as a limited bonus CD edition. This includes ‘Save The Youth’ alongside the first EP, all of the 7” remakes and unreleased studio outtakes.

Broken Hands announce the release of their new single ‘If You Need to Lie’ along with headline tour.

‘If You Need To Lie’, released on the 28th of May, is the new single from long time buddies and occasional cohorts, Broken Hands. The Faversham Four – Dale, Tom, Jamie and Callum – are all just out of their teens with a big ambition and a growing fan-base.
Over the past year, the young band ticked a fair few things off their to-do list. Their debut single ‘Brother’ was produced by Edwyn Collins and became the first release on his new label AED, they ran around Europe playing large venues opening for Band of Skulls, sold out their first London show at The Bull & Gate. Then they got invited back by Band of Skulls to support them on their 15 date UK tour, climaxing at Roundhouse in March, closely followed by the release of their second single ‘Sorrow’.

HIS DEBUT ALBUM ‘MISTY EYE’ WILL FOLLOW ON AUGUST 13.

Aiden Grimshaw will release his incredible debut single ‘Is This Love’ on June 3 through RCA Records. The song, written by Aiden, is taken from his debut album ‘Misty Eye’ which will be released on August 13. The album contains all original material, co-written by Aiden.

Aiden appeared as a finalist in The X Factor in 2010. His audition is one of the most watched on YouTube – a striking a cappella version of Kanye West’s Gold Digger.

Aiden said of the show: “I didn’t really know what I wanted from it. I love music, and I knew I could sing, but I didn’t think I was X Factor material.”
“I’d been given this opportunity and I didn’t want to waste it. But I had no idea what sort of music was really me. Everyone else had their own ideas, but all I knew was what I didn’t want.”

Following his appearance on the show, Aiden, who is 20 years old, moved from his hometown of Blackpool to London and set up a home studio where he spent two years writing and recording demos with various writers and producers. He found musical soul mate Jarrad Rogers (Lana del Rey, Tinchy Stryder), and the resulting songs make up his debut album.

‘Is This Love’ is an extraordinary, soaring pop anthem exploding with grinding drum & bass beats, and offers a taste of the light and shade, which Aiden explores in ‘Misty Eye’.
